Google Administration for Nonprofits

Your nonprofit runs on Google whether you planned it that way or not. Staff email lives in Workspace. Donors find you through Search and Maps. Your donation and program data sits in Analytics. And Google will give you $10,000 a month in free advertising through the Ad Grant, if someone sets it up and keeps it compliant.

That someone is usually nobody. Most nonprofits have no Google administrator, so settings drift, former staff keep admin access, tracking breaks quietly, and grant money goes unclaimed or gets suspended. We take that entire job off your plate. Easy Design Solutions is a Google Partner, and we administer your nonprofit’s whole Google footprint as one connected system, built around your digital presence and constituent relationships.

Google Ad Grants management

Up to $10,000 per month in free Search ads for eligible 501(c)(3) organizations. We handle the application, build campaigns around what actually grows your mission (donations, program enrollment, volunteer sign-ups, event attendance), and keep the account inside Google’s compliance rules so you don’t lose the grant.

Ad Grant compliance

The Ad Grant comes with strict ongoing requirements: a 5% minimum click-through rate every month, no low-quality or single-word keywords, required campaign structure, and working conversion tracking. Accounts that slip get suspended, and appeals take months. We run the monthly maintenance that keeps your grant alive.

Google Workspace for Nonprofits

Google gives eligible nonprofits Workspace at no cost. We set it up, manage staff accounts and shared inboxes, enforce 2-step verification, and handle the moment most nonprofits get burned: staff and volunteer turnover. When someone leaves, your organization keeps its accounts, files, and admin access.

Donation, program, and grant reporting data

We wire Google Analytics and Tag Manager to the actions that matter to a nonprofit: donations, registrations, volunteer forms, newsletter signups, every way a constituent engages with you. And because most of the grants you receive come with reporting requirements, we make sure that data is actually reportable: program reach, signups, and outcomes you can put straight into a funder report instead of reconstructing them at deadline time.

Integrated with your website

None of this lives in a silo. The Ad Grant lands constituents on your site, the site feeds your analytics, the analytics feed your grant reports, and your CRM catches every inquiry. We build it as one system. And if your current website can’t do any of that, we build those too. See websites for nonprofits or just contact us.

Why does grant money go unused?

Google’s own programs are free, but they aren’t self-running. The Ad Grant requires an approved Google for Nonprofits account, a compliant website, and monthly upkeep. Workspace for Nonprofits requires verification and an administrator. Most eligible organizations either never claim these programs or lose them within a year because nobody owns them. That ownership is the service.

Nonprofits We’ve Helped

PERFORMING ARTS NONPROFIT

For a performing arts nonprofit, we manage the entire Google Workspace domain: we recovered super admin access the organization had lost, secured accounts through a staff transition, rolled out 2-step verification, and built their Google Ad Grant strategy around program enrollment.

2,000-FAMILY YOUTH SPORTS NONPROFIT

For a 2,000-family youth sports nonprofit, we run the digital infrastructure end to end, from the website to the analytics behind it.

How it works

1

Audit

We review your Google accounts: who has access, what’s broken, which free nonprofit programs you’re eligible for and not using.

2

Set up and fix

Access secured, Workspace organized, tracking rebuilt, Ad Grant applied for or brought back into compliance.

3

Ongoing administration

We stay on as your Google admin: users, changes, monthly grant maintenance, and quarterly reports you can share with your board.

What does it cost?

We don’t quote blind, because every nonprofit’s Google footprint is different: some need a full setup, some just need compliance upkeep, some are sitting on free programs they never claimed. The audit comes first. It shows what’s broken, what you’re eligible for, and what actually needs ongoing administration, and you get a flat quote based on that. In many cases, the free Google programs we unlock (the Ad Grant, Workspace for Nonprofits) are worth more per month than the service costs.

FAQ

Is our nonprofit eligible for the Google Ad Grant?

Most 501(c)(3) organizations are (hospitals, schools, and government entities are excluded). You need a verified Google for Nonprofits account and a secure website with real mission content. We check eligibility as part of the audit.

Is Google Workspace really free for nonprofits?

Yes, eligible nonprofits get Workspace at no cost, with paid upgrade tiers heavily discounted. Free doesn’t mean set up, though; accounts, security, and ownership still need an administrator.

Our Ad Grant was suspended. Can you get it back?

Usually, yes. Suspensions are almost always compliance issues (CTR below 5%, disallowed keywords, broken tracking). We fix the account, then handle the reinstatement request.

Do we need technical staff to work with you?

No. That’s the point. You run the mission, we run the technology behind it, and everything gets explained in plain language.
